Longhorn breakdown

Hmm, a few interesting stats from the results. I'll load up the Garmin data tonight.

My swim time was way off, 43-minutes? Transitions are still my specialty, even with the long run, putting on the Garmin and my run belt in T1, I was still one of the fastest overall. My official bike time wasn't as good as my bike computer, not sure why but still 7th best in age group. T2 I didn't place so well in my age group but still pretty good.

There were also some stunning times across the age groups, Clydesdales/Athenas given the heat.

Results are up for the Aquabike, I doubt I could have gone any faster had I known I didn't have to run, so adding my swim, T1 and bike times gives 3:42:31 which would have put me in 6th overall in the Aquabike. Hmm, more to think on.

Kreutz took some pretty decent pictures at the event, here are mine. There are some pretty good ones, I was enjoying myself until the run, and even my lone run picture isn't bad.
That run was brutal!!!!

My swim time really surprised me, too. Then I remembered we weren't wearing wetsuits, but even then it still seemed to take longer than I'd expected.

The Aquabike is such a weird event. When the weather is as miserable as it was yesterday, perhaps it's the way to go. :)

Congrats on your fast transitions! You sure kick ass on the bike, too.
