Fitness isn't absolute or definite. After 6-days of "doing NYC" I'm exhausted. Yeah, I run half marathons, compete in triathlons and train regularly, I thought I was fit.
Well having walked from the Eastside having cabled over to Rosevelt Island, to the Westside; from Uptown to Downtown on the subway; from Battery park to Ellis Island, Liberty Island I've walked, sailed, ridden, walked and walked some more. My calf muscles hurt, the small of my back hurts and I no longer have a spring in my step. Its been great, fit I aint, but fit to drop I am!
