Back to the USSA...

Well travel went as normal yesterday; arrived Chicago no problem - couldn't stand the thought of having to travel economy so upgraded to Business class at the last minute, cost 50k mile and £20 UK tax.

Arrival in Chicago International terminal was a very different experience from past trips though. Instead of a quick sprint(ok, in my case lumber) along to the Immigration desks/agents, jump on the shortest line/queue, now you have to join one long line.

Normally it takes 10-12 mins to get through immigration at O'Hare with a correctly completed form, yesterday it took 58-minutes to get to an agent, and only 45-seconds with the agent.

This explains why my old connecting flight is no longer listed as a connection and why I have to wait 3-hours for the next flight. Good job for wireless connections!
