Ishigaki ITU World Cup Triathlon and GB Olympic Qualifier

Bevan Docherty won the mens race, followed 20-seconds later by Dmitriy Gaag and then first "Brit" Paul Amey, who gets an Olympics place. Andrew Johns was 4th, Tim Don 8th, Staurt Hayes 10th, and Marc Jenkins 32nd - given Richard Stannard was first out of the water(as usual) and along with Richard Allen, lead on the bike for quite a while, I've no idea why neither are included in the results!

In the womens race, Australian hot-shot and newcomer Maxine Seear won, pulling back a 35-seconds on Michelle Dillon on the run and beating her by almost 1-minute! Dillon came 2nd and gets an Olympics place, Andrea Whitcombe came 6th, Anneliese Heard 9th, Steph Forrester 10th, Julie Dibbens 12th, Jess Harrison 17th.
