New York minute

Aerial Manhattan view</a>
No matter how many times I've done it since Sept. 11th, it still takes my breath away. You've flown up from somewhere on the South of the USA, as you follow the NJ Turnpike up to NY and the plane cuts to the right you can see the Verazano Narrows bridge.

Shortly after you catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and then if you are lucky enough to be sat on the window seat of the right side, you'll be able to look almost straight down as the plane passes over Lower Manhattan and right over ground-zero.

The whole thing will be over in less than a minute, but the memory will last a lifetime.
